What is BDD?
Body Dysmorphia Disorder is a mental disorder that causes the person suffering, to feel insecure about a part of their body that they deem to be imperfect and is halting them from living their lives in the most fulfilling ways possible. Granted we all feel somewhat insecure in our lives, but those that suffer from body dysmorphia will let it take control of their every decision and it will often render them comatose should their mental state be that bad. It is of note that anyone can be affected by this, so age, gender and background are all moot when it comes to BDD.
