What is Constipation?
Constipation can be incredibly annoying this is true, the ability to not relieve one’s self can be quite stressful too. Some with disregard constipation as something as simple as a stomach cramp at first, a natural assumption to reach if you have never experienced constipation in the past. It can also be easy for these people to strain themselves when on the toilet rather than letting nature take its course. This can lead to a lot of internal injuries which should be a red flag to anyone attempting to do this when one is struggling to use the toilet worry-free.
Constipation can happen to anyone at anytime. It would be very rare to find someone that has gone their entire lives without experiencing this stomach issue. The causes for constipation are due to a variety of different triggers, the most notable being ones diet and their mental wellbeing. Constipation can be very difficult to face, after all, we all need to use the toilet every 24 hours, and a break in routine can be incredibly frustrating.
When does Constipation become a mental issue?
For some it can be rather difficult to admit that they themselves are struggling with a toilet issue. We generally like to appear to be healthy in nature when we are around people we socialise with. It is anxiety that causes us to question whether or not it is a good idea to tell people that we are suffering with some sort of ailment, and the risk of them not wanting to spend time with us because of that is the reason why some will keep it to themselves. Stubbornness is not wanted or needed if you are experiencing repeated cases of constipation on a weekly, if not daily basis. You aren’t helping yourself one iota by acting in this way, not to mention the stress that you are putting on yourself isn’t helping either.
