Spiders have a variety of different reactions to a variety of different people. To some, the sight of a spider might be considered nothing too serious, whereas to others they might curl in fear hoping that it will go away in due time. Most spiders are harmless, and offer no danger whatsoever. It is simply the sight of these insects that cause a specific reaction. In the UK you will very rarely find any dangerous spiders out there. You might find the odd spider or two in the bath but even then it is probably just trying to escape, it never asked or intended to be there. Spiders are nothing to be afraid of, they are probably more afraid of you than you are of them. Spiders are also really small in comparison to the size of your average human, so where does this fear come from?
We often fear things that we don’t understand, despite sometimes knowing that the thing we fear is nothing to get too worked up about. Spiders are harmless and will often go away in their own time if they are left alone. Killing them and curling up in fear is not the best way of going about this, if anything it only aggravates your issues rather than solves them.
When does a fear of spiders become a mental health issue?
A fear of spiders is always going to exist in ones own mind until they tackle their fears head-on. Anxiety forms through this fear, which can cause one to even freeze should they ever encounter a spider no matter where they happen to be. Spiders are more or less harmless, although this does not stop the many people out there that go out of their way to avoid these insects. There are some out there that fear simple house spiders. See below a potential resolve to a fear of spiders.

A potential resolve to a fear of Spiders
Those who happen to fear being around spiders might want to look into The Hudson Mind Theory (HMT), which could be the answer they’ve been searching for. This theory allows one the ability to remove negative thoughts from the brain itself, thus allowing one the ability to control their own feelings and thoughts in ways they didn’t think were possible. This is a tried and tested method of self-evaluation that is perfect for those that happen to be around certain insects and animals such as spiders. The methods taught here can be applied in a variety of different settings that all work towards channeling your feelings in a more healthy manner. This is the best way of going through your own personal thoughts and feelings in a calm and controlled manner.
Sessions for HMT allow one to counteract their woes rather quickly, and can even take place via Skype and FaceTime respectively.
